Jason C. Johnson
Chief Operations Officer & Hearing Instrument Specialist
Jason grew up in Iowa and attended the University of Iowa before continuing his education at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences while serving in the U.S. Navy and U.S. Marine Corps. He studied Critical Care Nursing and Field Medicine before later attending the University of Auckland in New Zealand, where he studied Audiology.
As Chief Operations Officer, Jason oversees clinic operations throughout Hawaii and helps ensure that providers and staff have the resources they need to deliver exceptional hearing healthcare. He also continues to see patients on a part-time basis when needed.
Jason’s passion for hearing care began during his early medical career, when he worked with patients who struggled to hear even with hearing aids. Years later, after selling a medical device company he founded, he was introduced to private-practice hearing healthcare by a friend. Seeing the life-changing impact hearing treatment had on patients and their families confirmed that this was the path he was meant to follow. For more than 18 years, he has been dedicated to helping people reconnect with loved ones through better hearing.
What Jason enjoys most about his work is sharing the knowledge and experience he has gained from working across many areas of the hearing industry. He takes pride in helping clinics and providers succeed while ensuring patients receive the highest level of care possible.
Outside of work, Jason enjoys spending time with his wife exploring Hawaii’s beaches and hiking trails. He is also passionate about scenic and wildlife photography and loves capturing the beauty of Hawaii’s landscapes and wildlife.
